THE BIGGEST AIRCRAFT EVER

An hangar in the Mojave Desert, California, has been the setting for publicly presenting the first model of Stratolaunch, the world's largest airplane. A technological prodigy with creation has been propelled by billionaire Paul Allen, founder of Microsoft. The aircraft is made up of two bodies or cabins joined by a wing of 117 meters, in which are coupled six engines similar to those used by a Boeing. Its weight is somewhat higher than 220 tons, and can carry a load of 600 tons.
